Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to blueprints, technical diagrams, and safety codes.
Troubleshoot electrical problems, identify faulty components, and provide effective solutions.
Perform routine inspections on electrical systems, ensuring they are safe and in proper working order.
Test electrical systems and components using specialized tools and equipment (e.g., multimeters, insulation resistance testers).
Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
Assist in the installation and maintenance of lighting, generators, circuit breakers, panels, and other electrical systems.
Interpret and follow electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Collaborate with other construction professionals (e.g., contractors, engineers) to complete projects on time and within budget.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Adhere to safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
Document all work completed, including any repairs or installations, for future reference and inspection.
Qualifications:
2 to 3 years of experience as a licensed or apprentice electrician.
Proficient with residential, commercial, and/or industrial electrical systems and wiring.
Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuits, and troubleshooting techniques.
Experience using electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Knowledge of local electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good physical stamina and the ability to work in confined spaces, heights, and varying environments.
