Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will oversee and drive the sales operations of the car rental business. This role
involves developing strategies to increase revenue, managing a sales team, and building strong
relationships with corporate and individual clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in
sales, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the car rental industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development and Execution:
o Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the rental cab
business in your assigned city.
o Set and achieve sales targets to meet organizational goals.
o Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to adjust sales strategies.
2. Sales Reporting and Analysis:
o Report sales performance through regular reporting.
o Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales processes.
o Report on sales metrics, forecasting, and client feedback to the management team.
3. Business Development:
o Use LinkedIn, the company's website, or business directories to map out the hierarchy and
identify key decision-makers (e.g., Sales Director, Operations Manager, Procurement
Head).
o Target individuals with authority in budget approvals, vendor selection, or contract
negotiations.
o Lead the acquisition of new corporate accounts, partnerships, and alliances.
o Attend industry events or join business forums where decision-makers are likely to be
present.
o Leverage existing connections or referrals to reach key stakeholders directly.
4. Market Expansion and Brand Building:
o Identify new market opportunities within your city and suggest new service offerings to
cater to evolving customer needs.
o Promote the company's services and strengthen brand presence in the local market.
Qualifications & Skills:
⢠Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
MBA preferred.
⢠Experience:
o Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the
transportation, cab rental, or related industries.
o Experience managing a sales team and driving business growth.
o Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets.
o Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
o Candidate from Car rental background.
