Job Description – HVAC Technician
Position: HVAC Technician
Location: Bangalore (Yelahanka)
Department: Facilities / Maintenance
Reporting to: Facility Manager / Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
1. Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and equipment.
2. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure efficient operation of HVAC systems.
3. Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
4. Replace defective parts such as motors, filters, belts, and sensors.
5. Handle refrigerants safely and maintain proper records in compliance with regulations.
6. Ensure all work is carried out following safety guidelines and company policies.
7. Respond promptly to service requests, breakdowns, and emergencies.
8. Maintain service logs, repair records, and daily reports.
9. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other technical staff for specialized repairs.
10. Provide support during audits and inspections related to facility equipment.

Qualifications & Skills:
• ITI / Diploma / Certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC tools, testing instruments, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit, attentive, and able to work in shifts.
